Press Release Body: GAO Instruments Releases xDSL Line Tester
Toronto, ON - GAO Instruments has released a new xDSL Tester, GAO330, designed for troubleshooting multiple types of xDSL lines including ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+and READSL. Not only can the GAO330 xDSL tester perform tests for xDSL physical layer parameters, it also evaluates line quality to assist users in determining proper connection for xDSL service. This model runs tests such as Ping, Ipconfig, Rouge and Tracert after every successful dial. It is capable of emulating the user's PC+ modem to check for a standard connection between the user and ISP provider and to test the broadband IP line. Likewise, this xDSL tester uses PPEoE dial through the user's modem to test the IP network connection, checks for any modem problems and corrects problems arising from the computer. In addition to PPPoE dialing, the xDSL tester supports internet (IE) browsing to validate network connection with 240X320 TFT true color LCD, featuring touch screen and Instruments system for clear test results and easy operations.
Key features
xDSL Test
Test xDSL lines and validates dial-up logon. Test items include physical layer test, modem parameter setting, PPPoE property, PPPoE dial, network layer test (Ping, Ipconfig, Route, Tracert), loopback test, and Web browsing.
LAN Test
LAN tests include PPPoE property, PPPoE dial, network layer test (Ping, Ipconfig, Route, Tracert),Web browsing, fixative IP scanning, FTP Client and Web page speed test.
DMM Test
Test xDSL line physical layer parameters include loop resistance, capacitance, insulation resistance and voltage.
Modem Emulation: Emulate users Modem
File management: includes saving records, browsing records, memory key storage and file transmission.
